We absolutely love seeing our community members staying active and taking care of their health. The gym has become a favorite spot for so many — a true asset to Bell Canyon.

But as we celebrate the positive, we also have a responsibility to look at the past with clear eyes.

Did you know the gym construction project was part of a pledge that, unfortunately, appears to have been clouded by corruption? Attached are documents showing fake bids — bids that were created to make it appear that the previous board followed an ethical process by obtaining multiple quotes before awarding the project.

But if everything was above board, why the need for fake bids?
What were they hiding?
And who ultimately benefited?

Transparency matters. Trust matters. And our community deserves both.
