It’s time our community knows the truth. For far too long, a group of past board members actively worked to divide Bell Canyon by telling residents to boycott our community events. Yes—events meant for our kids, our families, and our neighbors.
These individuals didn’t just criticize—they sabotaged. While families were trying to host weddings, bar mitzvahs, and anniversaries, they let the Community Center fall into disrepair. They tried to stop the very moments that bring us together as a community.
And when challenged, they claimed they were the only reason events ever happened here. But the truth is: despite serious financial struggles they left behind, the events not only continued—they thrived. Volunteers and residents came together to keep the spirit of Bell Canyon alive, proving that no single group owns our community’s joy and connection.
While also attacking the CSD and playing the victim, they left Bell Canyon HOA buried in over $11 million in debt and spent hundreds of thousands of public dollars on legal fees. They even approved illegal construction at the park—causing an event to be shut down for safety concerns.
Telling people not to come together is one of the worst things you can do in a community. Events are not just parties—they are the heartbeat of Bell Canyon. They’re how our kids build memories, how neighbors become friends, and how we preserve the spirit that makes this place so special.
But here’s the good news: We’re rebuilding.
This is the Bell Canyon we believe in. One of unity, progress, and celebration—not sabotage and division.
